The West Chester Public Library has served the people of West Chester continuously for 150 years! Through a five-year campaign, THE NEXT 150: Stewarding our Future, we are striving to raise $1.5 million to ensure that we can endure, grow, and innovate through the next 150 years.

We have variety of passes to local and regional attractions, all free to borrow! Many are "print-and-go" so you can decide last-minute to visit with no need to stop at the library.

Our Wednesday Book Discussion group meets at the library on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, 1-2pm, September through July. Everyone is welcome! Bring a bagged lunch.

Test your knowledge at West Chester Public Library’s Trivia Night in the Library, Friday March 21, 2025, from 6-8 pm. Meet your fellow trivia enthusiasts over free snacks and a glass of beer or wine from our cash bar, then get ready to answer questions in four categories when the quiz begins at 6:45.
